The arresting composition of this view spoke to me. It had a strong design that was simple and believable even at a small size. The colors and the mood were alive and the strong yellow-white barn was lit up like it was on fire. I enjoyed expanding on the design and mixing the colors for the sky, fields, and barn.
This came from a reference photo taken out of a car window traveling north in late October. Talk about a lucky shot. I couldn’t have photographed a more perfect building elevation short of standing there.
