The sloughs of the Columbia river provided this visage from out the window on the southbound freeway. I liked it because there were no people or buildings to clutter an inspiring view looking south from the road.
This is a view looking north in the late fall just before the leaves fall. What I like was the contrast of complementary colors of the purplish sky and the yellowish foreground.
This is merely a hill with trees on it, but there's more there than meets the eye. My aim was to create a feeling of hopefulness for another spring and all it promises in the months to come.
